30 November 2009 - Roeselare, Belgium – Stephen Kiprotich from Uganda was the impressive winner of the men’s race in the Lotto Cross Cup yesterday (29). The 20-year-old left Dame Tasama (ETH) and Pieter Desmet (BEL) way behind in a strong solo effort. Portugal’s Ana Dulce Felix confirmed her good form and took victory in the women’s race.

Kipruto holds off Kosgei by a second in Florence
29 November 2009 – Florence, Italy - Kenyan Ben Chebet Kipruto took the win at the 26th edition of the Florence Marathon holding off Reuben Kosgei by one second in 2:11:21. It was the second win of the year for Kipruto who finished first at the Maratona di Sant’Antonio in Padova last April in his 2:09:42 PB.
Weidlinger upstages Wanjiru in Melbourne

29 November 2009 - Nairobi, Kenya--Shadrack Kosgei, who was 10th in the 2005 World XC short course race, posted 35:56.2 after a thrilling final sprint to win the men's senior 12km race of the 3rd KCB Weekend Cross Country Meeting yesterday (28 Nov) on what was a cool morning on a flat course bordering Ngong Forest in the outskirts of the Kenya capital after a thrilling final sprint.
